The american badger is a north american badger.They has several sleeping dens,but usually they live in burrows.They live mainly in the Midwest and central Canada and northern Mexico.
Badger hunt mainly burrouiny rodents,but also other small animals and sometimes carrion.otherwise,they have few perdators.
American Badger body color is gray or red, white throat, face black block, short legs, long and sharp front paws, hind paw is shorter. From beginning to end of a length of 52-87 cm, where the tail length 10-16 cm, usually weighing between 4-12 kg. Male American Badger obviously much bigger than the female American badger, North American Badger also than the large South.
Badger is born blind, fur, and helpless. In the eyes open four to six weeks.
Amerocan badgers are generlly noctumnal.they do not hibernate,but may become less active in winter
in sum,the primary cause of adult american badger mortality is loss of habit and habit fragmentation which prevents them from moving throgh a normal contiguous range.
